Day 15 Dormagen – Köln

Day 15 Dormagen – Köln

Dormagen – Köln

12 October 2018

My day did not go quite as planned, Julia my host is a dentist and I have pain in one of my molars. She was so kind to take a look at it. Even though it was busy. They took an x-ray and said one of my molars is infected, but because it was busy they did not had enough time to do it. So next week I have to go again to a dentist. :/

As I left Dormagen, I walked over the markt which smelled like cheese, koekie  fish and coffee. Then I met with the Rhein again and followed it for a few kilometers. In Worringen I got a ride of a man in a big white van, he dropped me of in Blumenberg. From there I continued to Köln. When I entered Köln I found an abandoned shopping cart, it was dumped into a schobery (heg). It came in handy to put in my backpack.

As I continued walking I saw this painting on a house and I found it funny.

It was still some kilometers to my sleeping adres. I arrived around 20 pm there. I returned to the shopping cart to the supermarket which was only a few minutes walk. We had a good meal and talked for hours.

  1. lieve zoon,
