Day 14 with small quiz Neuss – Dormagen

Day 14 with small quiz Neuss – Dormagen

Neuss – Dormagen
11 October 2018

This morning I woke up in my tent on the river Banks of the river Rhine. I made breakfast, which was actualy the leftover from yesterday: macaroni with haxenfleisch. It was beautiful weather.

Just when I left I met an middle aged man, who was a local and he sad that I should take a small path on the left and not follow the asfalt road as my navigation said. And he was totally right (left in this case).

I left the big bridge behind me and followed the walking trail.

As I continued I was walking between the livestock.

The Rhine was constantly on my left and guided me during the day.

The last part of my journey was a bit boring, because I was walking through an industrial aria

As I entered Dormagen I was welcomed by Hendrik who is one of the sons of the lovely family that hosted me.

As for today I have a small quiz: who knows what this sign means?
Let me know in the comments!

    1. Ah gezellig.
Helaas niet het goede antwoord. Nog 3 maal raden of 24 uur wachten.

  2. Hey Aladin,
I’m glad to read you are still going on with your journey. I was a little bit dissapointed, that Kempen was only mentioned with one sentence, but I forgive you because of your nice assessment on couchsurfing. 😉
So, let me gues… could it be the kilometre counted from the source on? I had thought that the distance would be larger, but … why not try it!? *smile*

    Nice greetings,
    Kim

    1. Sorry that it was only one line. I did enjoy staying with you.

      Yhee that’s the corrert answer.

  3. You are 400 miles away from Home ( following the Rhine)

Ah no , may be, Rhine-Kilometers are counted from Swizzerland to Holland
