Day 5 Thursday

Today we explored the center of Wasserburg. We went up the hills to the “schönes aussicht”, and it was indeed beautifull. The sun shone and the sky was clear. We had a nice view over the old city center. Locals call it little Venice, because it’s an island in the middle of the Inn river. We reached the center over the one bridge that led to it. We walked through the streets, the houses have bright colours. We visited a few shops and bought some sweets en I also bought small presents for my family. We also took a look at two churches. Aladin told me church bells ring every quarter of an hour, on the half hour two times, three quarter three times, whole hour four times and then they ring the hour. We wanted to travel further, but it was hard to find a place to sleep. So we asked our host if we could stay another night and that was okay. This family does also have cat, we saw her opening the kitchen door with a big leap for the door handle. We had once again a great dinner and had a good time with our host and her boyfriend. We talked and laughed a lot together that evening.

So that was it, I’m leaving tomorrow again. It’ll be hard saying goodbye tomorrow, knowing we won’t see eachother for a while. I really enjoyed writing Aladins blog. I hope he travels safe and wish him luck and good times on his journey.
