Velký Lél – Komarno

This is the view that I woke up with:

When I packed my stuff and put on my shoes, I had a bit of a problem because yesterday I had been walking through the snow and they had become all wet. During the night the moisture had frozen. so I asked a guy at the camping where the barn belonged to and if I could warm up inside. But the guy did not speak any other language than Hungarian, so he called someone who spoke English. She asked what I wanted, so I said that I would like to warm up and have a cup of tea. It was nice inside and warm and they gave me a cup of tea with a bunch of honey. I put my shoes next to the radiator and my feet also against the radiator. The man who let me in gave me also a bag of crisps later. After about half an hour I went to the toilet and after that I was planning to be on my way again. Then when I left the toilet there was Lydia Jendrekova, it was the lady whom I spoke to on the phone. So I talked with her for a while but I still had the idea of leaving. The place was also some kind of farm and there where many people doing all kinds of things, one woman was cooking. And then I really wanted to go and it turned out they had been making soup for me, like an incredible big bowl. It must have been a liter or more, while eating it I talked to Lydia and told about my adventure. She asked what the biggest challenge was until now, I told her that it was the weight of my backpack and my wet shoes. Then her mother went away and came back with old dry shoes and socks. so I put them on and I bound my shoes to my bag. Lydia’s mother asked if I needed something else so I asked for bread. They didn’t had it but they came with a half fresh cheese, they totally surprised me with this and then another woman gave me a pack of cookies.

I left there pretty happy and they also told that they had hosted a guy who was walking form Hamburg to India who had sent postcards to all the people who he stayed with. That caught my attention because I have staid with people that hosted this guy as well. But I have no idea who they were.

I hid the donau dyke.

I had to stop because there was a splinter in my shoe and I was hungry. So I also ate some of the cheese and cookies.

At the town Zlatná na ostrove I had to stop walking because the shoes were giving me severe blisters.

Then I passed by another water tower.

i pased by the postoffice in Zlatná na ostrove but stange inuf you were not allowed to carry a gun insied an no hamburger ether.

From Zlatná na ostrove to Komarno I took a train, it was only two stops but I would have definitely not been able to walk it. At Komarno train station I wait a while otherwise my host of tonight would not be home. I used the time to write references and some blog stuff. Then I went to the toilet to get some drinking water but the old lady refused me. This upset me a lot! I went back to the place where I sat.

on The way out the station I passed by the old woman from the toilet and I expressed my dissatisfaction to her and it felt so good to do it. On the other side of the station square there was a pizza place and there I asked for water and I got it immediately.
