Neukichen am Wallersee – Eck

After a restless night I left Frau Kammerhiefer Irmpierd, who gave me applepie and a few bread slices for breakfast.

Everything was still white because of the snow.

After a couple of hours there was a nasty cold and moisture wind. In the distance there was a hunting cabin.

So I went there and got inside. It was a bit cramped but at least it was dry.
The view:

I wanted to move on but the weather turned too cold and it started to rain. So I decided to stay but I had a mixed feeling about it. I was happy that I was dry, but grumpy because it was cramped.
I could see the train from Salzburg to Wien via linz passing by

I tried out footh warmers that I bought. They worked but I constantly had the feeling that they would explode.

  1. hoi Aladin, het echte afzien is begonnen lijkt het. Ik hoop dat je voetwarmers niet geexplodeerd zijn! En dat nadat je al een slechte nacht bij frau Kammerhiefer….achter de rug hebt. maar ik zie dat je dit stukje wel vandaag geschreven hebt, maar dat het over dagen geleden gaat. Dus dit leed heb je allang achter je gelaten. Wel een goeie vonst om in een jachthut te overnachten. Nou succes maar op je tocht, hoop dat het weer droger wordt, dan zie je ook meer van de omgeving lijkt me, warme groet, lies

  2. Wat een ervaring! Kan me bijna niet voorstellen hoe het is om dagen door de sneeuw te lopen. Geniet van de omgeving, die ziet er al een paar dagen prachtig uit.
