Seekirchen – neumarkt am Wallersee

I was somewhat slow this morning. After breakfast I left for Straßwalchen (where I never would arrive, more about that later). I walked out of the village to the Wallersee, one of the big lakes between the mountains. Somehow I can not realize that these are real mountains although I can see it with my own eyes.

Into the forest.

When I left the forest, it was dark. So dark that I could not see the road (it was also covered in snow).

I walked in the village and went to the church. There was a service going on. At the end of the service I asked a woman if she knew a place where I could sleep. The language was clearly a barrier. I ended up going with her to her house. She offered me a meal and a bed. Her name was Kammerhiefer Irmpierd.
