Day 39 Brulafingen – Günzburg
5 November 2018
Brulafingen – Günzburg
Last night I had the first night in my new sleeping bag. At first it was very cold, but after a few minutes it warmed up and I wasn’t cold anymore the whole Night. So I’m happy.
This field with sunflowers looked pretty miserable.

The landscape is so different compared to the Rhine.

To cross the Donau I took the bridge under the bridge.

The weather is incredible good today, I could walk in my t-shirt and it was still warm.
I needed water, so I went to a nearby village. My navigation took me to paths that had not been used for a long time. It was quite difficult to follow.

After my water was refilled I went on.
This is the fire department of the village. It is a shed with a trailer and that’s all.

The highwater plan of the Donau but better than readebey(???) than previously day (???)

Here I took a break while I was listening to
‘Between Rhein and Donau’ of ‘
Patrick Leigh Fermor’. In 1933 he made sort of the same journey that I am making now.
On advice of my uncle.

This house looks very welcoming, I wonder who lives there.

This night I am staying with the Dimpel family.
