Lambach – Wels

I slept close to a railroad track and the train/tram would come by regularly and sounded like a whistle.

I had a bit of a headache and was not in the mood to walk to Wels and there was not a good footpath or at least I could not find it. So I took the bus. In +-15 min I was in Wels. It’s so weird that with a bus you can be there so unnatural fast.

In Wels I went to the city library to use a computer. Awnser mail and searching for hosts. Weirdly enough couchsurfing was blocked by the government of Wels, like it is some weird adult content site. But bewelcome, Warmshowers, and Trustroots. were not. The lybrairian woman came by and we had a small talk anout my journey. She spoke English very well.
My mother called and she was worried because there was weather code orange for Austria. I had no idea on what they based that, it was a sunny day and I walked around in my t-shirt.
I also corrected some roads in OpenStreetMap because there were some weird things in it. The previous day I had seen stikkers of the Jerusalem way and I was wondering how this route would go. It turns out that it is going the right way.
When I left the library the lybrairian came to me with o small note.

Tonight I will sleep at Verena & Anna. We had dinner together and played a game.
